Natural, mathematical, and engineering sciences have played a central role at King’s since its foundation nearly 200 years ago. This rich tradition continues to the present day where we have created a diverse student and academic community, who have impact globally.
In the past six years, the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES) has doubled in size and has joined the world top 100 across all areas. We have made significant investments in our Faculty staff and infrastructure, and the student experience to ensure that science, technology, engineering and mathematical disciplines thrive and drive King’s future.
At the same time as leading a growing and distinctive multi-disciplinary Faculty that can compete with the world’s best, we are seeking an Executive Dean who will continue to foster the Faculty’s vibrant and inclusive culture and support a community that prides itself on welcoming staff and students from our local neighbourhoods as well as from across the globe.
