Salary:

A competitive salary commensurate with the academic profile and experience of the successful applicant will be offered. Start-up packages would be subject to separate negotiation and would be time-limited for the period of the Executive Dean appointment.

There are two elements to this appointment:

  • Director (Research), King’s Business School Centre for Sustainable Business. This appointment will be for five years in the first instance on an additional and separate contract to that of the substantive appointment. The potential for a subsequent renewal would follow an inclusive review process.
  • The substantive appointment is an ongoing academic contract; a permanent member of the academic staff of King’s College London. It is expected, but not a requirement, that the appointee will meet the criteria for an appointment at professorial level.

Selection process

Applications will be shortlisted by a selection committee drawn from across the university. The final interview panel will be chaired by the Executive Dean of the Business School and will include representatives from across the Faculty and beyond. There will be two stages of interviews alongside stakeholder engagement.
