Reports to:         Executive Dean, The Dickson Poon School of Law
Salary:                        A competitive salary commensurate with the academic profile and  experience of the successful applicant will be offered.

There are two elements to this appointment:

  • Director of the Yeoh Tiong Lay Centre for Politics, Philosophy & Law. This appointment will be for five years in the first instance on an additional and separate contract to that of the substantive appointment.
  • The substantive appointment is an ongoing academic contract; a permanent member of the academic staff within The Dickson Poon School of Law. It is expected that the appointee will meet the criteria for an appointment at professorial level.

Selection process

Applications will be shortlisted by a selection committee drawn from across the university. Selected candidates will be invited to interview where they will be asked to present and respond to questions. The interview panel will be chaired by Professor Evelyn Welch and will include representatives from across the School.
