  • An outstanding academic profile and the necessary academic credibility to lead the Department of Chemistry with a demonstrable record of education innovation and research success.
  • Experience of working with Research Councils and /or other funding bodies.
  • A demonstrable track record of attracting, supporting and retaining world-class researchers and educators.
  • A strong track record of fostering collaboration and teamwork whilst empowering others by creating a collegiate and effective working environment.
  • Experience of delivering diversity, equality and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Experience of engaging with external partners and international activities.

Education / qualification and training
PhD in a relevant area of chemistry or related subject X   AP
